The best part of a one-years-old birthday party is the cake.
Their very own cake.
That they can demolish.
And squish.
And fling.
And possibly eat.
Guard thoroughly enjoyed his chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. He is a chocolate boy after all. He thought it was so much fun to have his own cake and get as messy as he wanted. He kept looking at me like, "Are you really letting me do this? Cool!"
Everyone had so much fun watching him. He wasn't too restrained, but didn't face-plant in his cake either. He had a great time.
Other guests had chocolate cupcakes with grassy green frosting. They were good, but we didn't have as much fun eating them as Guard did eating his cake.
All cleaned up and quite tired.
It was a great night and so much fun to celebrate our baby Guard!
