Kate's Preschool Graduation

When your child finishes their first year of preschool, it is no big deal because you know they have another year coming.  When your child finishes their second year of preschool, you realize a few things -
1.  They have grown up so much.
2.  They have learned so much.
3.  They get to, have to go to Kindergarten (at the big school!) next year.

My sweet Kate had such a fun year at The Treehouse Preschool.  Mrs. Skousen is truly a wonderful teacher.  Plus, her best friend, Taylor, was in her class, so she was in heaven.  They learned so much, went on fun field trips, had amazing parties.  It was a fantastic experience for Kate.  I completely feel like she is ready for Kindergarten.

Her graduation ceremony was bittersweet for me.  It is so fun to see how much they have grown, but it is so difficult to see how much they have grown!  The kids sang songs, repeated poems, said their parts and received their diplomas. 

 Kate was so nervous about saying her part she was in tears before the program.  Mrs. Skousen said she woudn't say it during the practice.  We were both hoping she would be brave enough to do it during graduation.  She was wonderful!  She said it right into the microphone and did an incredible job.
