We skipped dinner because the lines were so long, but we did play with the dragon and wander through all the activities.

LHS Chinese New Year Celebration
Since Gavin is taking Chinese in school, our family has been able to celebrate Chinese New Year the last few years. Lehi High School puts on a huge celebration, the entire community is invited and it is a big deal. It was so busy and crowded this year - which is great.
This is the year of the ram. All the Chinese students had their horns on. (Such bad lighting in the gym!)
Gavin was in charge of the animal matching game, which involved animal stamps and Chinese characters that you had to match up. The kids had fun with it and we didn't get any red ink on our clothes!
We skipped dinner because the lines were so long, but we did play with the dragon and wander through all the activities.
It was a fun night. I'm glad we made the effort to go.
