The kids were so excited!
We usually wait until Christmas Eve to get our new pajamas, but the kids were able to open them early so they could wear them on the train.
The drive up to Heber didn't take too long. We arrived a bit early. Long enough to look around at the train cars, visit the restroom and look around the gift shop.
Finally, we were ready to board. Guard was very excited that we were riding on an orange car.
We got great seats all together that were facing each other. We got settled and then waited to go. We couldn't wait! Even Gavin gave us a smile!
We were served chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate by Santa's elves as we rode to the North Pole. Does look very arctic, does it?
We reached the North Pole after not too long. We waved to Santa, who was outside, stopped and picked him up and waited for the train to change directions.
The kids waited very patiently for Santa to come and see them.
Here comes Santa Claus!
Enoch and Kate were very excited and Guard was a bit standoffish. He wasn't scared, just a bit cranky. When asked what they wanted for Christmas Enoch told Santa he could bring him whatever Santa wanted, Kate asked for a white wolf and Guard requested an orange binky (we took away his binky last week; he misses it.)
Santa gave everyone bells to remember him. The bells were very nice and very noisy. Very noisy. Everyone on the entire train car were ringing their bells. It was overwhelming. Guard didn't appreciate the noise.
Not too much longer and we were back at the station. It was a very fun trip to the North Pole. I'm so glad we took the ride.
