We were able to attend the ceremony and reception of our nephew, JD, and his new bride, Becky. Kate was asked a few months ago to be the flower girl and she was so excited!
They had a country Christmas feel to the wedding and it was beautiful! I wasn't sure how it was all going to come together, but they did a fabulous job with it. They held it at the Barn at Lindon Nursery. It was decorated with burlap, pine cones, cream flowers. It was great!
Kate was a bit disappointed at first that she wasn't wearing a frilly, twirly dress, but she was perfectly happy with her outfit (especially since she got new boots!).
The dinner and reception were great! Rib City for dinner, dancing and caramel and chocolate dipped apples that you could load up with a dozen different toppings. Kate adored her caramel apple, even if it was a bit hard to eat. All the kids loved it!
We didn't stay until the end of the reception (in fact, I'm not sure we made it to the beginning of the reception!). Guard was done after a few hours. It was a fun night and we had a great time celebrating JD and Becky.
