Christmas Eve

We had a very typical, fun Christmas Eve this year.
We cleaned up and washed sheets in the morning.  It always seems to take longer than I think it will.
We played a game - Forbidden Island.
We decorated cookies for Santa.  Some of those cookies have a lot of frosting and sprinkles!
We spent time with family at the Fowler family Christmas Eve party.  We ate soup and rolls, visited and the kids acted out the Nativity.  It was just our kids and the Howes - and they all did great!  Enoch was a wise man, Kate was Mary and Guard was Joseph.  Kate took her job very seriously, but Joseph kept running off!
After clean-up we headed home to finish our traditions.
The kids were able to open their Christmas Eve gift - a new book.
Gavin got the Maze Runner series, Enoch was beyond thrilled with Spirit Animals 5, Kate was excited to tear into her Tear Up This Book book and Guard loves his Fred and Ted books.
Everyone went to bed happy (and excited!)
