Enoch is Nine!

WOW!
Is Enoch really nine?  I can't believe my little guy is growing up.  He is so incredible and so incredibly awesome!

A few days ago, I was looking back at old blog posts when Enoch was three.  How did we all survive that???  He is an all-or-nothing kid.  He is so curious, intense, intelligent, funny, kind, sweet and everything else good.  He is doing well figuring out his huge personality.  He hasn't been dealt easy traits - and those traits don't always work well together (stubborn, perfectionistic, intense emotions, genius, creative), but he is making it work for him.  And the rest of us are learning how to make it work for our family.  Gosh - we love this kid!

We started Enoch's birthday with our traditional measure.  He has always been my consistent grower - another 1 1/2 inches.

He had a fun day at school, filled with fun elementary school birthday stuff.  After dinner, we gave Enoch and Kate their birthday present - a trip to San Diego.  They were so excited!
After dinner, we decorated birthday/Valentine cookies.  So many sprinkles - the kids loved it!
