We've been keeping busy at our house this week. Just a few funny things to remember.
Gavin - He has gone into reading, as my mom would say. He has read four books since Saturday. His favorite: The Ranger's Apprentice Book 4. He loved it (he has loved the entire series). He is being the Ranger for Halloween and we picked out his fabric this week ($2 a yard at Wal-mart!).
Enoch - His favorite conversation with Mom (we have it at least 5-6 times a day)
Enoch - "Mom, I love you."
Mom - "I love you, too."
Enoch - "I love you up to the moon."
Mom - "I love you to the moon and back."
Enoch - "I love you to the sun."
Mom - "I love you to Jupiter."
Enoch - "I love you to Saturn."
Mom - "I love you to Neptune."
Enoch - "I love you to Plutern." (which apparently is farther away than Pluto, the farthest planet of them all).
Mom - "That is so much. I love you more."
Enoch - Laughs, Big Kisses. "No way, I love you the best!"
Kate - Her new words this week are thank you and wow. She has such a cute little voice, but it's her facial expressions that are so great. When she says thank you she smiles so sweetly and tips her head to the side. When she says wow she says it with her entire body. She claps her hands, opens her eyes wide, exaggerates with her mouth until I can see all of her teeth and jumps up and down. She gets excited about almost anything!

All your kids are so cute in their own way. I love hearing about these things that I would never have known without your scrapbook blog. I love bragging about my cute nieces and nephews.
Children who "go into reading" are the smartest and best children in the world (provided they get all their jobs done before they do it :-)
Enoch is still one in a million! Hold onto that boy! Thanks for the description of Kate's new words. We don't feel like we're missing so much that way. I can picture her saying them. Great blogging!
I'm so glad that "going into reading" lives on! It was my absolute favorite way to spend a summer day. Hooray for Gavin!
