I promised some pictures of Kate's new skirts. I admit I'm really getting into making clothes for Kate (thanks for the inspiration, Carrie Hobbs!). There is so much fun, cute fabric out there and some great easy patterns. I stick mostly to dresses and skirts that don't require zippers or buttons, but maybe someday I'll actually learn how to do those things. Luckily, Kate quite prefers skirts and dresses; she gets a bit feisty when I try to put pants or shorts on her. Anyway, my two latest creations. Obviously the red, white and blue skirt was for Independence Day. I figure I can also get some use out of it for Pioneer Day. The pink one - well, Kate just looks too cute in pink! I made the white, blue, green and purple skirt because Greg complains Kate only has pink clothes.
If only she would hold still...

Super cute, I love the pink one!
You're such a clever seamstress! Kate is so lucky that you love to sew for her. Now she can have lots more cute "outfits." (That was for you, Greg!)
Ooooh! That bottom one is REALLY cute! Good job. I'm hoping to find time to sew something soon.
I think you should give me sewing lessons. Morgan way prefers skirts to shorts and pants and your are always so cute. Talented lady!
Also, looks like your zion's trip was a lot of fun! Glad you had a good time.
