Christmas Elves
Every morning Kate asks if she can pick out Guard's clothes. Of course (and I try not to make too many suggestions!). We found some cute, little elf shoes in our Christmas box and Kate has been dying to put them on Guard. She said, "Let's put these shoes on Guard so he can be a leprechaun." Not an elf, a leprechaun.
As I was dressing Guard, I had flashbacks to 14 years ago - same shirt, same overalls, same shoes, different baby. Although I think it's a different baby; they really do look alike!

So cute, I was just thinking when I saw the first picture, "Aren't those the shoes we bought for Gavin?" I remember how excited we were. Wow, how time flies!
Holy cow, they must be related or something!!! Very similar face.
I love these posts of old pictures. I remember Gavin and those little elf shoes like it was yesterday! We all were so excited around Christmas to have a baby around! I can't believe the similarities.
What a wonderful post! It brought back so many precious memories!
