Kate and Cosmo

Kate, me, Grandma Randall, Aunt Michelle and Brynnley went to the BYU gymnastic meet tonight. Kate is taking gymnastics and absolutely loves it. She is very serious about it, but also has a lot of fun. I've been wanting to take her to a meet all season and decided if we were going to do it, we'd better hurry. Uncle Jarom was so nice and gathered All-Sports passes for all of us so we were able to get in free. The meet was at the Smith Fieldhouse.
We had so much fun. Kate really liked watching the girls on the bars and beam. We sat on the second level right above where the vault was so we could see the girls in the air as they were flipping off the vault. Kate loved that. She would sit and watch so intently during the routine and then clap when it was over. What a cutie!
Her favorite part of the night was when she meet Cosmo. He was walking around the gym and she would follow him with her eyes. When he came over to our section I told her we would get a picture with him. I was expecting her to be a bit nervous, but she walked right up to him and sat on his lap. Kate is quiet, but she really isn't very timid. She was so excited to tell her brothers.
We had such a fun night. Brynnley rode down with us because her mom stayed home with her sick baby brother. All the way down and then back home there was nothing but chattering and giggling from the back seat. Kate and Brynn had so much fun together. It was a great night. I think we've found a new girls night out tradition.
