Enoch keeps asking where our leprechaun decorations are. I keep telling him we don't have any. He doesn't like this answer. Now would be a good time to tell you I spent some quality time with my children making homemade St. Patrick's decorations, planning green food for all our meals and having the leprechaun visit last night and leave little goodies for my kids. But, since I did none of those things, I won't. However, I did make sure all the kids were wearing green today. Gavin remembered on his own; although he is too cool to wear green obviously, so he hid it under his sweatshirt. Enoch has been counting down the days for weeks, so I wasn't worried about him wearing green on the right day. After realizing a few days ago that Kate does not own one green item of clothing, I whipped up a cute little green dress. The sewing and fit are horrible, so don't look too closely, but for one day it will do.
Kate was pretty upset when she learned she had to wear green today. "Me no like green! I want to wear pink!" Gessh, if we aren't wearing pink we are throwing a fit. She was a bit more happy when she learned she was getting a new dress. Kate decided that tomorrow whoever isn't wearing pink will get pinched. We'll call it Kate Day. Her brothers didn't like that idea.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all. I think it is a great excuse to get a new dress! Maybe I should have one, too! That goes for you, too, Tresa! I'm just glad I won't be there for the "pink pinching." :-D
Cute post, love Kate and her cute girl personality
So funny! I love all of the different personalities of your children. I hope everyone wears pink tomorrow! You're amazing for whipping up a dress so fast! It takes me about 2-4 months to finish the baby quilt I'm working on, but you can whip up a dress in no time :)
