Anxiously Awaiting Spring

I have a love/hate relationship with March and April in Utah. I love the warmer weather, longer days and hints of spring. I also realize that winter isn't over yet and regardless of how warm and sunny it is, snow is imminent.
The kids are dying to be outside - Enoch especially. He is not his usual happy self this time of year. Winter really takes it out of him. He really does live to be outside in the sunshine. I hate to compare him to a flower, but he literally follows the sun like a flower and closes up when there is no sunshine.
So, that means that we enjoy the warm, sunny days even more! We have spent as much time outside as we can. Enoch and Kate have both enjoyed riding their bikes and scooters. Kate is now tall enough to reach the pedals on her bike and Enoch is a whiz at bike-riding (almost too much so - please watch for zooming Enochs in the road!).


Yes, Kate is wearing a Halloween angel costume and pink Crocs while riding her scooter. Whatever.

I know snow will come again, but days like this help you get through!
