Today, I took the boys to Rita for haircuts. She does such a better job than I do. They get professional cuts twice a year - before school and before family pictures. Although, I think Gavin is getting to the point where I can't really cut his hair anymore. I'm going to have to invest in some sheep shears to get through his hair.
After the boys were done, Kate hopped up on the chair. I wasn't planning on getting hers cut, since there still isn't much of it. But she was so insistent. I told Rita to go ahead and try to do something with it.
Rita cut it to match her shortest layer. I was a bit worried when I saw her cut off about 2 inches in the back. I was yelling in my head, "That's all her hair. She's worked so hard for that!" Kate sat so still and just watched Rita in the mirror. She loved it when Rita put some mousse in her hair, blew it out and then sprayed it with hairspray. She kept telling me she was a big girl.
She is a big girl. She looks so old with her new cut. I love it! It is so cute and styled. It's amazing what a great cut does, even for a 2 year old!

She doesn't look like a baby anymore! I can't believe how grown up she is. The second picture she smiles just like Enoch, how cute.
She really does look like a little girl! I love her haircut! She really is a big girl (as she keeps reminding me!) Love you, Kate!
She is such a cutie!
