How many of you out there realized that today is Pi day? Since I live in a family of geeks, not only did I know that it was Pi day, but we celebrated by discussing the concept of Pi (I'm still confused, too many math terms) and eating chocolate cream pie. It was a fun excuse to make pie (since I really don't make it that often) and to do something out of the ordinary on a Saturday night. As you can see, the kids loved their pie and hopefully they understood pi better than I did!

I had no idea! Apparently the geeks in my family are not geeky enough. I could have used some pie yesterday, but it didn't happen. Do they have a day for the Pythagoreum Theorum? I hope so!

I'm with Kaye! I could have used some pie too. I forgot about it being Pi day. It's so good that the Fowlers will keep the tradition going. One of our friends on a mission reminded us that 3/3/09 was square root day! Who thinks of these things?!? Anyway, good excuse for a fun family time! I love you!

I love how your family celebrates so many holidays.

So when is quadratic equation awareness week?
