The entire Jordan family (minus Brent and Jen) were able to gather at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Lakepoint for a reunion before Eric entered the MTC on Wednesday bound for the Dominican Republic. It was wonderful to see everyone, especially the Garners who traveled from Canada. We had lunch and visited most of the afternoon (before the rain drove us indoors).
A very old tradition in the Jordan family is to pelt the newest member (by marriage, we don't do this to babies!) with marshmallows. It is great fun and we all look forward to it. This year was Dave's turn. He took off as soon as he knew what was going on and locked himself in his car. Party Pooper! We can't wait for our next marshmallow party (hint, hint Jarom!).
Isn't Grandma's house fun. Enoch had a great time. The little boys were bored so Great-Grandma Jordan gave them cups of water and sponge brushes. They 'painted' the bricks and sidewalk for 30 minutes! Enoch also made friends with the neighbor dog who was very calm (just how he likes them). Gavin is at an in-between age with cousins. He hung out and talked with the adults and raided Grandma's kitchen for snacks a few times. Kate had fun being passed around and spending time with Brynnley. Our family had a great day and are so glad to have such a fantastic family.

I love that picture of the bricks getting "painted."
Family togetherness really is what it is all about.
Oh ya, and Greg is welcome to join us on the "Great American Bulk Up" show if we ever get it up and running!
I agree!! We have the best family. Dave was so surprised about the marshmallows and I'm so glad you guys remembered because I completely forgot. Can you send me some picture so I can post it on my blog?
Looks like a really nice day. I love big family get togethers and seeing what keeps everyone entertained. Fun tradition with the marshmallow pelting!
Lots of good times. Hey, could you please e-mail me the family pic, as well as any pics of me you might have taken. Thanks.
