Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year - the year of the monkey!
I'll be honest, Chinese New Year is a bit anticlimactic now that Gavin is not taking Chinese anymore, but it is still a fun tradition and an excuse to have orange chicken for dinner.
The family got their love fortunes on the breakfast plates this morning.  I write 'fortunes' of things that I love about each person and wrap them in felt fortune cookies.  Everyone loves it!
It's a great way to remind the kids and Greg of how great they are.  I'm so thankful for them!
For dinner, we had orange chicken, ham fried rice and egg rolls.  It was a really heavy meal - good thing we only have it once a year!

Another great "Mother post." You are an extremely thoughtful mother. You know your children and your husband so well!
