Waffle Day
This morning while Greg was checking the weather on the news, I overheard them say it was National Waffle Day. Fabulous - now I know what's for dinner.
I decided to make it a bit more fun and have chocolate waffles with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, hot fudge sauce and blackberries from the garden. Everyone loved it and it was a fun change for dinner.

You deserve to be a popular Mom! How many other families are having only dessert for dinner?!? Fabulous! We did have whole wheat waffles today for breakfast, but we only had strawberries to go on them, no ice cream or hot fudge sauce! And it didn't pack the same punch because we didn't know about "Waffle Day."
Ok they sounded good when you were telling me about them now after looking at them I really want that recipe.
I am so bummed I saw it was Waffle day at like 10:00 at night, I'm going to have to put it on my calendar. Yours looks super yummy!
