A tradition Gavin and I (Mom) started a few years ago is going on an early morning doughnut run before the Saturday morning session of General Conference. We leave early about 6:45am and go to the Lehi Bakery (I mean really, who has better doughnuts than they do, especially when they are that fresh?!) and we pick out doughnut for the entire family. As long as we get sprinkles for Enoch, everyone is thrilled with their doughnuts. It's a great way to start Conference weekend. I especially enjoy the time with Gavin and it's special knowing that it is just our tradition, nobody else gets to come. General Conference can be a bit crazy at our house, but I hope that my kids will have some happy memories of spending those weekend together.

What a fun tradition!! I suggested it to Dave. Although we have a tradition of going to the temple Saturday mornings and then going to get donuts at Granite Bakery. They are not as good as the Lehi Bakery, because honestly nobody is, but it's still a fun tradition.
I used to have the exact same tradition with Jordan except it was for the 4th of July parade. Enjoy your time with Gavin while you can...because they grow up and hanging out with mom isn't quite as exciting for them once they turn about 15. I love the colors of your blog! Are they new?
What a good idea! You are so good with your traditions!
do you have to write down all your traditions to keep track of them??? LOL! You have some great ideas...I need to start taking notes.
