I've mentioned before that the Fourth of July is by far by favorite holiday. I bought glow-in-the-dark t-shirts for the boys a few weeks ago but hadn't been able to find anything I liked for Kate. I saw a cute shirt at the Quilting Cottage and talked myself into trying to make one without a pattern. It turned out so cute that I made another. So, Kate had two fun holiday outfits (she's not spoiled or anything!!)
Greg calls the plaid outfit her Gone With the Wind shirt because it was my experiment shirt and I made it out of left over fabric from the curtains in Enoch's room!

Oh Ashley, whatever am I going to wear for the parade?
I loved the comment above, I laughed really hard when I read it. I thought Kate was the belle of the day. She looked so cute. You've waited so long to dress up your little girl for your favorite holiday and she was so cute.
Cute Cute outfits and WHAT!!!! I have never seen glow in the dark shirts!!!! And how creative are you to make an outfit out of curtains!!!!!
Happy 4th
So cute, Tresa! Your kids will always remember the fun you have on the 4th as a family. I love that you are so patriotic and are teaching that to your children.
I think grandma would be so proud. I like the first one better of the two, but both look great on her.
She looked so cute, I was wishing I had gotten more for Brynnley! I'm so impressed with the shirts and the bows!
You are extremely talented! She looks adorable - and you even made matching head bands! My she's a lucky girl.
She is so adorable! I'm not usually good about posting comments (though I do read your blog regularly!), but I had to post and let you know what a sweetheart Kate is!
