Kate's First Rice Cereal

The way Kate has been downing her bottles you would think that we are starving her. After days of feeding her every two hours and a couple time a night, we decided it was time for solids. I tried to put her off as long as we could, but she really was ready for more food.

She did so well her first feeding session; very few yucky faces and spitting food out. She devoured all the cereal we gave her and enjoyed her few sips of water. What a great eater! We hope this keeps up and that she will like all of her new food.

That second picture is so cute with the huge popping eyes! Glad she enjoyed it - let's hope you get one that's not a picky eater like Gavin!

It was just so fun to see Kate gobbling her first bite of rice cereal. And what a cute smile.

Looks like fun! Hopefully it will help satisfy her a little more! I'll let you know how it goes on our side, we are shooting for next week!

I think the real challenge will be when she's old enough to know what veggies are, and if she has the desire to eat them. Right now, she'll put just about anything into her mouth. I love the pictures.

Hi Tresa!
I just linked over to your blog from a comment that you left on Melissa's. How did I not know about it until now. I hope you don't mind, but I had so much fun reading your posts! Cute kids, funny sayings, and great memories. Let me know if I can link you on to my blog or if you want to stay more private, I'll just stop by and snoop once in a while :)
